Hurricane Milton Update

The Spring Lake Community Development District thanks you for your emails and calls about damage in the community and we are responding to them as quickly as possible.

The Board met on October 22, 2024 and approved ASI Landscaping to start bracing over 150 plus down trees in the community on CDD property. They will also be trimming up hanging branches and removing trees/debris from CDD property. We expect this process will take 60-90 days to complete.

We met with the insurance adjuster this week and will start collecting proposals for the repairs for the playground equipment, monument roof and lights, PVC fence where owned by the CDD, repairing the community banners, and assessing the lake bank erosion. Unfortunately we do not have a timeline for these repairs so we ask for your patience through this process.

We do expect that the CDD pedestrian gate will be repaired in the next two weeks.

We ask that residents review this link to the Wall & Fence Maintenance Responsibility Map Dated 04-26-2023. This map shows who is responsible for certain areas of the PVC fence. In most cases residents are responsible for the PVC fence behind their homes since it is on your property. This is not PVC fence owned and maintained by the CDD.

If you see other items that need to be addressed, please contact me directly at the email below.
